Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through The Colour Social website and attendance at events organised by The Colour Social.
The Colour Social is a trading brand of Lazy Duck Studios Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”).
By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. The Colour Social Events
The Colour Social provides creative social events designed to offer a relaxed environment for colouring, creativity and social connection.
Details including the date, time, location, ticket price and what is included will be displayed on the relevant event page before you purchase your ticket.
Please check these details carefully before completing your booking.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, drinks, food and other purchases from an event venue are not included in the ticket price.
2. Event Bookings
Your place is not secured until your booking has been successfully completed and payment has been received.
After purchasing a ticket, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation acts as evidence of your booking.
You do not need to bring a printed ticket to the event unless we specifically tell you otherwise.
Where an event has limited capacity, tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Ticket Prices and Payment
Ticket prices are displayed on the website before checkout.
Payment must be made through one of the payment methods available at checkout.
We reserve the right to change the price of future events. Any price change will not affect a booking that has already been completed and paid for.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
If you can no longer attend an event, you may cancel your booking for a full refund up to 7 days before the event.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another person. Please contact us before the event with the name of the person attending in your place.
Failure to attend an event without cancelling your booking does not entitle you to a refund.
Certain contracts for leisure activities taking place on a specific date or during a specific period may be exempt from the usual statutory cancellation period applicable to some distance contracts. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that apply to your purchase.
5. Cancellation or Changes by The Colour Social
Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may mean that an event needs to be cancelled, postponed, moved or materially changed.
If The Colour Social cancels an event, customers will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid.
If an event is rescheduled or materially changed, we will contact affected customers and explain the available options.
We are not responsible for additional expenses you may incur in connection with attending an event, such as travel, accommodation, parking or other purchases, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
6. Event Venues
Some Colour Social events take place at third-party venues.
Customers must comply with reasonable rules and policies operated by the venue.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchases made directly from a venue — including food and drinks — are separate transactions between you and the venue.
Venue accessibility varies. If you have particular accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking or attending and we will provide the information available to us and make reasonable efforts to assist.
7. Behaviour at Events
The Colour Social is intended to provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone attending.
We ask customers to behave respectfully towards other guests, our hosts, venue staff and property.
We reserve the right to ask someone to leave an event where their behaviour is seriously disruptive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, unsafe or otherwise significantly affects the experience or safety of others.
Where a customer is required to leave because of their own behaviour, a refund will not normally be provided.
8. Colouring Materials and Creative Activities
Materials provided at an event may include colouring sheets, pencils, pens, markers and other creative materials.
Please use materials appropriately and follow any reasonable instructions provided by the host.
Although we take reasonable care when selecting materials, customers remain responsible for their own belongings and clothing. Some art materials may stain clothing or other personal possessions.
9. The Colour Social Artwork
Unless otherwise stated, illustrations, colouring designs, branding, graphics and other original creative materials provided by The Colour Social are protected by intellectual property rights.
Colouring sheets supplied as part of an event or purchased for personal use may be coloured, displayed and enjoyed for personal, non-commercial use.
They must not be reproduced, scanned, digitally distributed, resold, commercially exploited or used to create products for sale without our prior written permission.
Purchasing a ticket or product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
10. Photography at Events
We may occasionally wish to take photographs or video at Colour Social events for our website, social media or promotional materials.
Where identifiable guests are the focus of promotional photography or video, we will seek appropriate permission.
If you do not wish to be included in photographs or video, please let the host know.
11. Personal Belongings
Please take reasonable care of your belongings while attending an event.
The Colour Social is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where this results from our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
12. Products
The Colour Social may also offer physical or digital products through the website.
Product descriptions, prices and any relevant delivery information will be displayed on the applicable product page.
Where statutory cancellation, return, refund or other consumer rights apply to a product purchase, these Terms do not restrict those rights.
Additional terms may be provided for particular products where necessary.
13. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on our website is accurate and up to date.
Occasionally, errors may occur. If we discover a significant error affecting an order or event booking, we will contact affected customers as soon as reasonably possible.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
15. Personal Information
Personal information provided when making a booking or purchase will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may use the contact information associated with your booking to send information reasonably necessary to administer the event, such as booking confirmations or important changes to the event.
Marketing communications will be handled separately and in accordance with applicable data protection and electronic marketing requirements.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The terms applying to your purchase will normally be those made available to you when you placed your order.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory legal protections and rights regarding where proceedings may be brought that apply to you.
18. Contact
Questions about these Terms & Conditions or your booking can be sent using the contact details provided on our website.
